Wuhan University of Technology (WUT)*

Originating from the Hubei Institute of Technology founded in 1898, the university has cultivated nearly 700,000 senior professionals, particularly leading in scale and making remarkable contributions in the three major industrial sections, namely the building materials and construction, transportation, and automobile industry. Currently, the university has over 60,000 students, including more than 37,000 undergraduates, 23,000 postgraduates, and 1,200 international students.

It has three campuses in the city of Wuhan: Mafangshan Campus, Yujiaotou Campus and South Lake Campus, covering an area of nearly 4,000 acres, with a total building area of 1.953 million square meters, a collection of more than 4.07 million books, and 26 academic schools and 5 independent research institutes.

Founded in 2002, the School of International Education of WUT is one of the first schools of international education established in China, focusing on international cooperative education and education for international students in China.

Located on the Mafangshan Campus of Wuhan University of Technology, the school relies on the university’s high-quality disciplinary resources, established Teaching and Research Office for both Business and Art disciplines, and has a high-level teaching staff covering multiple disciplines such as engineering, economics, management, and art. Currently, there are more than 3,900 students, including more than 2,700 students in international cooperative education programmes and more than 1,200 international students.
